Going the route of 100% quality was my only choice.
It's a hard road, but it makes sense. There aren't many weaving companies left in the Czech Republic, especially ones that can create with you and get close to your idea. I found Svitap J.H.J. and we started the development. The first version was quite far from today's flannel. We didn't give up and together we solved every problem that arose. It was a lengthy process, but today I can say that our flannel is exactly what I wanted it to be. It is made of 100% cotton, its uniqueness lies in the special weaving method and the weight - 370 g/m2 ensures that the yarn from which the fabric is woven is 2.5 times stronger than in ordinary shirts. Given the strength of the fibres, the way the fabric is woven can be likened to knitting. With subsequent use and washing, the fibres are stretched, the weave is strengthened and this ensures that the life of the shirt is prolonged.
Sewing method
We make our shirts in the Czech Republic and in our own workshop; only in this way can we guarantee proper sewing.
We pay attention to even the smallest details. Only because we know exactly what materials are used and how our shirts are made can we guarantee their quality. The shirts are sewn for Ræeznik by seamstresses that Rosta found and was able to employ; over time he learned to sew the shirts himself.
If there's one thing Rostaa really likes, it's his scissors and the way he cuts the material. Even a detail like how and with what you cut the fabric has a big impact on the overall quality of the shirt. Cutting with scissors ensures that the fibre of the fabric doesn't fray, as in the case of industrial saws or cutting the fabric in several layers.
We sew on machines that have the necessary stitch quality. For double stitching we only use single needle sewing machines, this method of sewing already requires proper tailoring skills. Each shirt is made of 25 pieces. After cutting them, which must respect the continuity of the blocks, there is sewing and other steps. Dozens of operations are carried out on the shirt before it is finished. Each shirt is an original. They are created with an eye for detail and the knowledge that our customers deserve the best.
And as Rost'a says, "I would never let a customer walk away with a shirt that he hasn't sewn or inspected.
Thread
Of course, they are also manufactured in the Czech Republic, specifically in the Hagal company, which is based in Hrádek nad Nisou. They are really honestly scanned threads, thanks to which we guarantee the strength of the seams.
Buttons
The buttons with the motif of a raven are made of horn and are produced by the company Knoflíkářský průmysl Žirovnice. These buttons are about a hundred times more expensive than ordinary buttons - each one is original because it is handmade.
